Power Measurement:

Energy Tracking’s meter is specifically designed for power measurement. It can provide instanteneous measurement values for demand (kW), kVA, kVAR, power factor by phase and phase angles. It is revenue grade, highly accurate (0.2%) and is UL listed for US and Canada. It can measure three phase supplies including WYE or DELTA configurations. The power measurement values are reported via it's on board web server and via email, ftp or SOAP Web Service client.

This meter is ideally suited for instantenous power and energy measurement. It has broad applications where tracking of energy usage and monitoring is required for local or remote locations. Our web enabled electric meter measures and can provide and report instanteneous (1 second) power measurement data, Demand (kW) and Energy (kWh) usage. This advanced meter can also provide load profile data for energy management and energy tracking.

It is primarily designed to provide a low cost mechanism to acquire and transmit real-time data via email or ftp and reduce communications costs using Ethernet communications. It also has a embedded web server which allows setup and viewing of energy usage information. Our technology for power measurement has widely been used for a range of applications requiring remote or local metering. This advanced meter is a 4-quadrant meter that can provide energy imported and exported.

Our power metering technology supports a wide input voltage range from 120 to 480 VAC. The unit supports a secondary 0-5 Amp CT. This smart electric meter can also provide periodic energy usage (load profile - kWh, kVARh) every 5 to 60 minutes. For more details see: WEM-MX
