Energy Tracking’s ModBus TCP/IP Server Integration in WEM-MX 5 Amp.

Energy Tracking’s smart IP enabled meters allow reporting of energy usage in real time using
push technology. Based on user feedback, it became apparent that not all end users are ready to implement the latest reporting
technology such as using a SOAP XML client to transmit data via HTTP. The ability to pull information off a device on
the existing network using alternate protocols was also required. Energy Tracking is pleased to announce
the release for the WEM-MX 5A which will integrate a ModBus TCP/IP Server. The ModBus TCP/IP enabled server can
be utilized by end users to request data in real-time... every 1 second if necessary.
The benefits that Energy Tracking is now providing is the ability of end user's to use the latest communication and
reporting technologies but also can fall back on other reporting means due to network or security issues.

The BAPS Temple in Parsippany, NJ was overwhelmed by high utility bills for over a year. An internal energy audit
indicated that their peak demand and energy usage should be lower than what was being reported on their Utility bill.
Initial contact with the utility resulted that the burden of proof was up to the Temple representatives.

meter can now be setup to send data using XML/SOAP web service client. This new version will allow communications via port 80
and eliminates the hassles of going through secure firewalls that too often prevent ftp traffic.

Energy Tracking is announcing the release of a unique version of the WEM-MX meter. This new version will allow
the the use of current transformers that provide a 333mV secondary output (Safe-CTs). One of the major advantages
of this version is that the current transformers are available in split-core versions that are much lower in cost versus
split core current transformers that provide a 5 amp secondary.

Energy Tracking Acquires European Certification

Expanding its presence to Europe, Energy Tracking has announced that its Web Enabled Meter (WEM-MX) is now CE Certified
(Conformité Européènne). All products sold in European Union (EU) countries require CE certification.
The European Commission refers to the CE marking of products as a “passport” which can allow a manufacturer to
freely circulate its products within the European marketplace.
Energy Tracking’s Technology Enables Sub Metering At School District
